News from the Boulevard
February 20, 2006 - Picture & Frame Industries
We are sorry that it's been so long since our last Update, but you are partly to blame. 2005 was a good year and December was exceptionally busy. We would usually experience a lull in Jan / Feb but it just has not happened this year. In fact, we have crews working Saturdays to keep up. Thanks for the support.
We are busy but we are not standing still. Let me give you some highlights:
- PFI "Spring Fling" party is scheduled - details to follow! We want to see you!
- Two new price guides for Moulding and Supplies are coming soon.
- Increases? "Yes" but not too bad. We tried to keep it to a minimum.
- Buy 10 Get 1 Free on TruVue Conservation Glass is back for 2006.
- Expanded use of www.pictureandframe.com.
- Special promotions and online ordering coming soon.
- Enhancements to our computer system to better serve you.
- Moulding news:
- 350,000 ft of moulding is scheduled for delivery over the next 90 days.
- It's taken awhile to analyze our direct import program but it's done. Can't imagine where we will put it - great deals to be had soon for length buyers. Really committed to Blacks and Lazio.
- 2" version of the Yosemite line are in and being sampled.
- Revamped Oak selection is in and being sampled, 5 profiles/3 finishes.
- Coming soon: Tuxedo, Dutch Ripple and Gravure lines. Nice looks.
One more thing... when you get that call to bid on 100, 200, 500 frames - don't forget that you have a staff of 50 people and a 33,000 sq.ft. well stocked warehouse. We are an extension of your back room.
Based on your response - increased purchases - many of you liked what we did last year. We promise the same and more for 2006.
