News from the Boulevard...
The signs and sounds of spring are showing. The other day, a beautiful, early spring day, late in afternoon, I was driving home and saw new born horses running and bucking in a pasture. There was a track team running as a group down the road. I passed a high school and saw the baseball players playing catch. Golfers are trying to play a quick nine holes. Trees are budding and flowers are sprouting. Good signs … nice stuff!
On to business:
In the March issue of PFM there was an interesting article under their header Retailing by Ken Baur. The article, Vendors: what are they good for? has lead a number of discussions in our office and with customers that have read the article. The gist of the article highlights choosing suppliers and cultivating the relationship so that it is a win-win for both organizations. Interesting reading! Go to pictureframingmagazine.com, click on Overview of current magazine, scroll to "Retailing" section.
